Product Overview of Low-Voltage Insulated Fiber Bragg Grating Temperature Sensors:

OFSCN® capillary seamless steel tube low-voltage insulated FBG temperature sensor is composed of fiber connectors (FC, SC, LC, ST, etc.), insulation material, seamless stainless steel tube, and single-point/serial FBG encapsulation. The FBG is fabricated using the UV light mask method, and the fiber used can be ordinary or high-temperature-resistant/low-temperature-resistant single-mode fiber.

It is a FBG sensor with the characteristics of low-voltage insulation, high sensitivity, fast thermal conductivity, good accuracy, small size, lightweight, high tensile strength, high pressure resistance, high temperature resistance, waterproof and moisture-proof, non-combustible, and corrosion resistance.

By utilizing the temperature sensing properties of the FBG, this sensor can be inserted, clamped, adhered, or embedded into the structure to be tested for temperature detection and monitoring. It can be widely used in various industries such as industrial production, power, railway, military, aerospace, etc., for single-point or quasi-distributed temperature measurement.

OFSCN® capillary seamless steel tube low-voltage insulated FBG temperature sensor can be packaged with either a single-point FBG or a serial FBG array (fiber Bragg grating array).

By selecting different insulation materials and FBGs with different temperature resistance levels, this product can adapt to temperature environments ranging from -200°C to 300°C, with a breakdown voltage of not less than 600 volts or 6000 volts. In terms of principles and actual measurements, this FBG temperature sensor is a universal product and does not have compatibility issues with FBG demodulation equipment. With the use of a matching fiber bragg grating demodulator, this product can also be referred to as an industrial capillary thermometer.
