Important Notice:
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") are concluded between Beijing Dacheng Yongsheng Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "we") and the user of this Forum (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "the user"). By registering, logging in, or using the services of this Forum (URL: https://forum.ofscn.net) in any way, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to accept the entirety of these Terms and the Company's Privacy Policy, and are bound by them.
I. Acceptance and Scope of Service
- Acceptance of Terms: You must carefully read and understand the entire content of these Terms. If you disagree with any content of these Terms, please immediately stop using the Forum.
- Scope of Service: The Forum is designed to provide a platform for technical exchange, experience sharing, and seeking technical support for users of the Company’s fiber optic sensing technology-related websites (including but not limited to https://www.ofscn.net and https://www.ofscn.org).
- User Commitment: You commit that you possess full capacity for civil conduct and can independently assume legal responsibility. If you do not possess full capacity for civil conduct, you must use the Forum with the consent and guidance of your legal guardian.
II. Conditions of Use and Code of Conduct
1. Restrictions on Access
Your right to use the Forum is limited by the following conditions:

- If the Company contacts you directly, indicating that you may no longer use the Forum, you shall cease using the Forum immediately.

- You may not hyperlink to images or other non-hypertext content on the Forum on other web pages.
- You may not remove any proprietary ownership markings from materials downloaded from the Forum.
- You may not use an <iframe> to display any part of the Forum on other websites.
- You may not disable, avoid, or circumvent any security or access restrictions of the Forum.
- You may not strain the Forum's infrastructure through an unreasonable volume of requests, or requests designed to impose an unreasonable load on the Forum's underlying information systems.
- You may not impersonate others through the Forum.
- You may not encourage or help anyone violate these Terms.
3. Content Standards
You shall not submit illegal, offensive, or harmful content to the Forum. This includes, but is not limited to:
- You may not submit content that is harassing, inappropriate, abusive, or hateful.
- You may not submit content that violates the law, infringes on anyone's intellectual property rights, infringes on anyone's privacy, or violates agreements you have with others.
- You may not submit content containing malicious computer code, such as computer viruses or spyware.
- You may not submit content to the Forum as a placeholder to reserve a specific address, username, or other unique identifier.
- You may not use the Forum to disclose information you do not have the right to disclose, such as the confidential or personal information of others.
4. Legal Compliance
- Legal Compliance: When using the Forum services, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including but not limited to the laws of your country/region and the laws of the server location, Singapore). If you are a user located in Mainland China, you must also comply with all relevant laws and regulations of Mainland China, such as the Cybersecurity Law and the Administrative Measures for Internet Information Services.
- Content Review: The Company reserves the right to review all content you post on the Forum. If we discover or receive reports that your content violates these Terms or related laws, we reserve the right to delete, block the relevant content, or suspend/terminate your account without prior notice.
III. Intellectual Property
- User Content License: The intellectual property rights of all original content you publish on the Forum (including but not limited to text, images, and code) remain with you. However, you hereby irrevocably grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, transmit, and display your published content, for the purpose of promoting and improving the Company's products and services.
- Forum Ownership: The intellectual property rights of the Forum's services, design, architecture, code, and official content published by us are all owned by the Company.
IV. Account Management and Termination
- Account Security: You are responsible for the security of your username and password. Any operations performed through your account are deemed to be your own actions.
- Service Termination: The Company reserves the right to terminate services to you at any time without assuming any liability in the following circumstances:
- You violate any provision of these Terms or the Privacy Policy (especially the content in "II. Conditions of Use and Code of Conduct").
- You post content that is deemed illegal, infringing, or seriously inappropriate.
- Due to requirements of laws, regulations, or regulatory authorities.
V. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
1. Disclaimers
- Use Risk: You accept all risks of using the Forum and its content. To the extent permitted by law, the Company and its suppliers provide the Forum "as is" and provide no warranties whatsoever.
- Service Nature: The technical support and community exchange services provided by the Forum are informal, non-professional, and free auxiliary services. The Company makes no express or implied warranties regarding user communications, links to third-party websites, or losses incurred by users due to the Forum's content.
- AI Disclaimer: All consultations, suggestions, or solutions provided by the AI bots on this Forum are for reference only. The Company makes no guarantee as to their accuracy, completeness, or utility. You shall not use the answers from the AI bots as the basis for purchasing the Company's products or signing contracts.

- Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of the Company to you for any and all claims related to the Forum or its content shall be limited to $15 USD.
VI. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- Governing Law: The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed preferentially by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the People's Court with jurisdiction in the location of the Company (Beijing).
VII. Revisions to the Terms
The Company reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on the Forum and shall take effect immediately upon posting. You should review these Terms regularly. By continuing to use the Forum service after the Terms have been revised, you are deemed to have accepted the revised Terms.
